Launceston Little Whispers: WATCH THIS SPACE

WELCOME

In response to popular demand we have set up this site so that all those little gems floating around in coffee shops, bars etc. have somewhere to go when it is time to come out of hiding. Once upon a time this sort of thing found its way onto ON THE SPOT in The Examiner.

It now looks like that some of those people who now get their information online miss this information and once read the paper miss that layer of news.

We are giving it to them here and while doing so we hope to level the playing field just a little.

FROM AN OLD HAND

"Used to be fantastic - $2 paid to reporter with first/best spot each day and $1 for all other spots. In the “good old days” NO spot was allowed to be a lost and found item nor a moan. It had to have a point/barb/arrow!!!! It was how cadet reporters boosted their pay packets ... going out every day to find a worthy spot."
